petroleum engineering/energy management is not a good place to be if you have a Jewish name. I was shocked at how other Jewish studrnts were treated by faculty and other students, especially in clubs. It's not a coincidence when all Jewish students in a particular geoscience course fail the same exams while everyone else passes it! Everyone feels the same way - particular professors are so distant for no apparent reason with us while extra helpful with everyone else. The research is retarded and gets you nowhere unless you let the professor put his foot on your neck or your project will make local news or help the school. The only reason people get accepted into ivy league grad schools from here is because this university is so fffing rural and unheard of and their petty research paralels with their personal statements. No one knows about this university anywhere outside of Oklahoma unless your a petroleum engineer.
