Good professors are outstanding, genuinely teach and even make an impression. Bad professors are horrible wastes of time and money.

Good offices (Cahill Careers, OSS, Womens' Center, Dining) are good to outstanding.

The reason NOT TO GO HERE: Bad offices (Public Safety, ResLife, Administration, the Board of Directors, bursar, registrar, provost) are abysmal, incapable of solving problems, and tend to inconvenience students more than help them.

There is no outdoor social life as of 15-16, courtesy of Administration and Public Safety. The dorms are visually nice and accommodating, but living at Ramapo is not unlike a prison nowadays, with Public Safety knocking on your doors three times in one night to let you know that you currently aren't causing trouble, but that you shouldn't and they'll get you if you do. That happened once. ResLife is consistently a pain to deal with as well.

Public Safety also proves incapable of resolving issues, as a case of sexual assault was unresolved, reported in their office, for over an entire semester's time. This was not one of the publicized cases that helped destroy Ramapo's public image in local media.

The social demographic is New Jersey kids. You will find your clique and have a good time. This demographic includes entitled Bergen babies but they tend to 'get it' by mid-sophomore year.

Commute for a Bachelor's. If you want a college experience, avoid, you will find so much more elsewhere.
