You read the reviews here, and of course the bad ones come first, but what they say is true. If your looking for a solid school for an educated individual, this was not that school. I was in the communications building, and while the program is richer than most, the rest of the school was dragging it down. Classes were hit and miss, some felt very informative, others felt like show and tell. I have no comparison, but I felt that the work I was doing was not going to be respected by anyone in my field. I felt like, if i graduated in one year (I did not), I would have to take an unpaid internship (if i even find one) and then be out of luck on a job, out of luck on $50K, unless your lucky, wealthy, or connected. You think the social aspect wouldn't be that bad, but there was just no opportunities for people who can't/won't drink alcohol. I spent alot of time exercising, and staying away from the dorms. The living situation in the dorm was not good. I had a pushover RA, who didn't enforce the rules, and I can count on my fingers the amount of nights I actually got 9 hours of sleep. They say you can move rooms, but not without leaving the building, and heading to the towers. I just couldn't do it that easily. Should have left earlier but I felt like I had to finish the year. |
