You are taught not to learn but taught to write an exam at the end of the year. At the end of the degree many students leave not really knowing a whole lot about their degree but rather how to Google answers for assignments with which they are heavily laden. Also, different learning styles are not taken into consideration. Teachers generally are not creative to the point of making the material interesting and relevant; they do the bare minimum. However, this does not apply to all the teachers/courses but out of the majority that I took, this was my experience. Wolfville, on the other hand is a very beautiful town with a friendly atmosphere. Wolfville is not just a town of students but real residence are here, which changes the atmosphere of the local businesses to create a more respectful environment which in turn the students also become more respectful. |
