William Woods is good and bad but the positive aspects are the friends you make and nothing to do with the educational side of things. Teachers play major favoritism and if they do not like you, you are screwed! I was a A/B student but of the 4 classes I took with 1 particular teacher, I received 3 D's!!Do not get me started on Student Life! The main guy is an absolute joke and his Graduate Assistants are just as bad. As an international student, they treated us like dirt. Would not let us enter our dorms early or let us leave a little later as we would be heavily fined. They don't realize we can't schedule when our flights leave! 4 internationals had to sleep in the basement of one of the buildings for 3 nights because student life would not allow us to enter our rooms. I definitely would not recommend this school to international students. The President, although a nice lady, lies. The Athletic staff are knowledgeable about their sports but only 1 of them was actually a good coach. My coach was awful. He was nice to me but was simply put, a bully and lies often. Not 1 player liked him and at least 99% of the alumni would rate him as their worst coach ever. If we had a good coach, 3 out of my 4 years we would have reached nationals. Instead, we had a coach who would constantly make very questionable speeches and choices. I wish I visited WWU before I committed as I would have never gone there. As I said, I have made lifelong friends but that is one of the few positives from my college experience at this school. |
