I regret coming to this school. If I were to go back in time and re-choose, I would pick URI.

This school is for business majors, despite offering a liberal arts program and no matter what they say. Almost all of what I was told when I transferred here junior year were blatant mistruths.

This is a school for students who perform at a mediocre level—which is absolutely fine, but not what I had hoped for. And when you perform more than mediocre, you will never be acknowledged. I am very bitter that Nichols College cared more about a Division III football team ranked dead last in the nation than the graduates who managed to get into some extremely well known grad programs. There were only two or three of us, but this was completely ignored. The college offers a liberal arts program at about 50%. Do not come here if you are intending a liberal arts major and/or a serious student. This is a school for mediocrity.

I was ill prepared in academic writing. I was ill prepared for grad school as a whole.

I went into the education field at a small private school and am very happy with my job, but the college had nothing to do with this. I publish stories regularly and the college had nothing to do with this, either. If asked, I mention my grad school and skim over Nichols as my undergraduate.

I cannot recommend Nichols College.
