So where do I start about LIU, LIU will lie to you about everything. They are losing money, are a non-for profit, they don't have all the programs they say they have. The Cafeteria has been shut down three times, Financial Aid will steal your money. classes will vanish in thin air, You will never graduate unless you're rich or extremely lucky. Infact if you're not rich and pursuing pharmacy, Just don't go! Also for $1362 a credit, i should be challenged! If You plan on staying on campus a year might roughly cost you about 60-75k! Even my own counselor told me to go somewhere else! in order to leave you have to pay money you never owed and take, Phyc 1-2, history 1-2, sociology,philosophy 1-2, physics, stats human bio and tech, technology class,chem 1-2,art,and 9 credits of english. They threaten us if we go to the press or write in the school paper. Its really corrupt, I feel sad everytime i see new students on campus. Oh and any student thats an RA or in student gov no longer gets free housing or money towards their tuition starting this year.
