This school teaches a liberal arts education from a Christian point of view. It is a university that houses a truly remarkable faculty, 95% of which has a doctorate in their field. Additionally, the learning environment is both intimate and friendly, providing students with an adequate space to grow as individuals and community members. It is important to know that we are an expanding university. We have around 37 programs of study (up 3 from last year) and have an undergraduate student body that is under 1000 students. In general, it's exciting to be a part of this university for two reasons: 1) the low population creates an environment that fosters intimate friendships that will last a lifetime, and 2) It is exciting to be a part of a growing university that has been thriving over the past 3 years, developing departmentally and schematically (in terms of campus renovations). One down side of the university would be that there is no dedicated performance center. However, because we are the only school in the NAIA that does not have one, our president has set forth plans to have a performance center built by 2023 at the latest. This is a fantastic school and a remarkable fit for any who are seeking a degree from a private school. |
