Lipscomb University smothers its students. There is no original thought or healthy argument in most classes. The few Professors that go around the crazy Church of Christ policies are gems, and their classes are usually the best.

I transferred here from The King's College in NYC, where students were taught that arguments done in a respectful way are healthy and help them to grow and learn. Lipscomb has an

I went into this school knowing it was Christian-based, but I was not aware of just how closed-minded their curriculum is. For example, in my PR class, we have to choose a CHRISTIAN nonprofit company to represent for our final projects. This was a huge conflict of interest for me because although I am a Christian, I feel that it is good for students to branch out into the secular world and learn how to communicate with all kinds of people with all kinds of thoughts and beliefs.

In short, don't go here. Some professors and classes are phenomenal and helpful, but in the end, it is a waste of money if you want a well-rounded view of the world.
