Palomar is good to start your college career. I know people who went for 4 years and left without a degree I know people who started there who now are MBA students.I had as many good teachers as bad teachers. As many outstanding teachers (Speech class I met my wife) as horrible ones (History teacher told me a funeral for my friend was a waste of my time). If you go there, have a plan to get out, the counselors are notorious for not helping you get through the program fast, they often times suggest useless courses not meant to help you graduate. This school is not perfect, it does a few things very well, especially accounting and business based courses, honestly the accounting professors were as good as my 4 year professors. If you are a veteran, this is a good place to start, they really really really know how to maximize your benefits and are very hands on with help. |
