I am a student at Clarion University on the GI Bill. I attended this school under the impression that it was a military friendly school. This school seems to be a degree mill designed to give rural Pennsylvania students a chance to leave home. The students are very closed minded, everyone seems to be a farmer, and there's very little social life. The school administrative is not supportive. Academic curiosity is not encouraged. Rote memory is the name of the game. Very few students develop conceptual understanding of the material taught. There are no discussions in class regarding practical applications for material learned. Don't expect to have detailed discussions about case studies in the book. No on in class participates and students very rarely read the book. Students are applauded when they can repeat an answer that the professor gave, 2 seconds before repeating the answer. The learning enviornment sucks all motivation. Less than half of the students ever graduate.
