I am very disappointed with admissions and financial services. My child used his GI bill and submitted it through the financial office. There was a clerical error and the GI did not pay his tuition. The school never notified my son that it was denied so when he received a bill he assumed the money was coming from the VA. Right after the semester ended his account was sent to collections even though the office knew it was a GI matter. He was charged an additional 2000 dollars and the GI will not pay since it is in collections. The financial aid office is confident that they handled it correctly and don't believe they need to notify students when there is a problem with the GI. It is lazy and shows a complete lack of regard for the well being of our veterans and their dependents. |
