Tufts is a "very good school."

The professors are great, the neighborhood is awesome, and the students are bright, friendly, and passionate. My experience in engineering has been that classmates are very collaborative, and there's no competition whatsoever.

However, everyone here is constantly stressed about schoolwork. There is a lot of pressure to succeed, but it's not so obvious. Students value academics over everything else, and don't know how to have fun unless it's a Friday or Saturday night.

The culture of the school values structure so highly. Everyone has their entire week/life planned out, and students don't know/care to get off-campus. It very much feels like a bubble at this school, like a summer camp. To be fair, it's really not a bad summer camp, but sometimes it feels pretty fake.
