If you're looking into getting into a career in Human Services…DON'T! The salary isn't enough to pay off your student loans. I'm 37 years old, and recently graduated. I busted my hump, working two jobs and going to college for seven years, just so I could remain just as broke as I was before college…EXCEPT now I'm somehow expected to pay on my student loans. I bring home $1600 per month, and I have $1550 in bills alone, excluding commute costs, daily living expenses, and incidentals. I'm now looking forward to working two jobs while in graduate school, as a result. The end SEVERELY fails to justify the means. It's not worth it.
