I've been here a long time and I would Not recommend going here. It's practically Chicago North University. There is no real college experience, the students are self absorbed, uncaring and the very opposite of modest. It's difficult to meet new people as well, everyone acts like they don't know each other and never say hello kind of vibe. LOTS of rich and preppy students from rich prepatories or academies who's moms and dads give them everything. Pretty decent academics but be ready to work for it with limited social outlets and heavy debt. The city is literally dirty and robberies are not uncommon. Campus itself is subpar. It looks good for graduation time… that's it. I came here for the job I wanted but got nothing more besides that. Kind of disappointed looking back on it to be honest. Go to a UW school, more bang for the buck and a bigger crowd of people to meet. |
