In my honest opinion, Mitchell College is a great college for LD students. It even has a transitional program called "Thames Academy" near the campus that allows people to do learn how to survive college life to see if they are fit for it. But from my experience as a Thames student who is now at Mitchell, it was crap experience. I mean I am doing well in academics and the teachers are nice to me unlike what other reviewers say but the students are assholes. Literally this school gave me my first taste of bullying in my life. Not that the school and campus safety did nothing, they did take notice and took care of the problem but the fact that for the first time in my 20 years of living I had to deal with rude, abusive, and mean spirited people who tried to make my live a living hell was a shocker. It's not the school's fault but I am pissed that there some kids who SHOULDN'T be in college and are sulking around like prairie dogs in the school. 60% of the students are druggies and immature twats who went to some alternative high schools and treat normal people like me like crap. I was very popular in my high school, this college is like a hollywood version of a high school. My high school was intellectual and diverse of ideas, this college is dull and full of ignoramuses that almost dropped out of high school. Many people leave the place after freshmen year (which I should have done) but I stayed cuz the teachers are nice and I don't think other colleges are better when i research them on this site lol. Still it is a great school that has a Radio broadcasting club that I think is great if you want a radio show, but it needs a few tweaking in not allowing severe LD people in and allowing more normal LD folks in.
