Ferris State University is a great "middle-class school". I don't need to tell you that it isn't an Ivy League university, so if you are looking for a prestigious university, this may not be a great choice. However, when it comes to learning actual skills for careers, Ferris is excellent. Most programs require internships, so the University does a great job helping students get a foot in the door to their desired industry. Ferris does not seem to be a "party college". Most people here seem to be very focused on their schoolwork, although I live in an Honors dorm, so my perspective may be skewed. Also, the Wi-Fi is extremely slow in the residence halls, but the Ethernet is around 300 Mbps, so make sure to bring an Ethernet cable when you move in. |
