Specifically the CS department is a poor choice. It has too many students for the resources they provide. Upper level courses are still 150 or more students in a lecture hall, but with no outside labs or seminars. You're on your own, and if you can't find a group of students to regularly work with, then you will likely feel stupid or fail. Faculty advisers don't reach out->I don't think mine would recognize me in person. Overall, for how much this school costs and the resources it has, the undergraduate CS education is a shameful display. |
