not a good school.Left within first week due to not feeling safe, roommate problems and rude/obscene Resident Advisor.Room had pest problem, teachers unaccesible, bookstore listed wrong books, costing me hundreds of dollars and there was an armed robbery on-campus within two days of me moving in.ECU is basically a party,football-oriented college that will try to take your money and doesn't care about the success or even basic safety of its students. And heads up to Spanish majors like myself:came in with a very advanced placement score and was still placed in a much lower-level class—it doesn't matter your level of fluency in the language, tey top you out at a lower-intermediate level…you'll be stuck in Spanish classes doing basic exercises for a very long time, even though you already know all of those things.Again the school is a money pit that only cares about athletics and how great their faculty is—has no interest in its students whatsoever or communication among the different staff members and departments.Within five days of living there, had more than 5 separate issues—I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
