Ive been going to this school now as online distance learning for over three years now. I was recommended this school by my mother who also went here for a short while. She ended up dropping out because the cost of the schooling started to rise and the course work started getting out of hand. I stayed in it, because for once it was a school I really enjoyed. I was getting really great grades, and felt really motivated. About a year and a half ago was when things really started to take a turn for the worse. The financial aid office is AWFUL. You're talking to too many different people if you have a question about something that needs to be resolved and stuff doesn't get communicated to one or the other person. It also takes them FOREVER to process your information. The teachers there have gotten worse. It's obvious most of them don't even want to be there. Trying to get them to answer their emails is a joke. The coursework load is a bit extreme for one course. You're doing the work load of what would be a 16 week course into an 8 week course, but it's like most of them don't consider that you're probably taking other courses as well. So for example one course releases their assignments on a Monday, "you need to read 100 pages in your text book and then do these two assignments by Wednesday." Some of us work full time jobs damn it. I used to have a really great success advisor that would walk me through what I needed to progress more with my degree. I've had three different ones within a short period of time. This recent one didn't even communicate with me that one of my courses wasn't a requirement anymore, so by the time I had changed it she released my financial aid three days before school even started, so I couldn't even get my textbooks until later then that. This school isn't worth it anymore you guys. The cost has gone up WAY too much, that it would now officially be cheaper for me to just physically go to a college by me, rather then doing all of the course work through online schooling.
