FSCJ is NOT an Academic Institution. The so called professors do not teach, instruct or even comprehend their own department material. The Professors, whom I shall call staff, are only there to facilitate. They let websites and programs grade your progress. They do not grade or provide feed back on projects or assignments. They do not follow or write their own syllabus. They do not fact check students work. they require you to purchase books for hundreds of dollars and they don't even use them. The Staff of this institution believes that students should learn from students which is only an excuse to alleviate themselves from actually teaching. This is supposed to be an institution of higher learning and the materials and online discussion formats are terribly unrealistic and out of touch with the real world that college is supposed to prepare us for. Many classes offered cover the same exact material as other classes, the only difference is which chapter you find the material in. This is exactly the case with the Industrial Management Technology degree program. 4 Management classes and each separate text book which can cost between $100 and $300, Each start off with Steve Jobs as a case example. Now why do I have to revisit Steve Jobs in 4 different classes in the same degree program? aren't there other examples of great management icons to learn from or is it just part of regurgitating garbage to sell another text book? This regurgitation of information consistent in other text materials of different classes. Not just Steve Jobs, the entire class content is jumbled up in different chapters and resold to students under a different author and edition.
