I want to leave an honest review because there are some reviews that just bash the school and some reviews that are outdated. First, Neumann University is a small college. It was recent that this college turned into a University. The facility is cozy but very outdated and lack student resources for the amount of students coming into the University (This includes parking space and computers available to the public).

Second, the staffs that work at Neumann are mostly all very nice people who genuinely want to help students who work hard to find success. This school has one of the best tutors that is available to all nursing students. There are only a handful of nursing professors who genuinely care about their students. There is one professor who teaches 3 major nursing courses that will do everything in her power to reduce the number of graduating class. If you understand how she teaches and you study hard, you will pass the courses. Communicating to ALL levels of students is the key to graduating from this nursing program. If you lack social skills, you will not be successful in this program with just intelligence alone.

Third be respectful to everyone who you communicate with but keep in mind who you talk to. In nursing, rumors spread like wildfire and its usually the pet rats that tell information to the teachers. Do not think that you are in a debate club when you are speaking to the professor who holds your grade. You really have to suck up if you want to pass in this nursing program. Do not believe in everything you hear from the staffs because information about classes and when you can take it is all up to the assistant dean of nursing.

It is really sad, but you are only paying to stay in a nursing program that is designed for you to read and learn from outside sources of the nursing program. There are only a handful of professors that will explain the questions that you have, but sadly this is the nature of nursing school. Nursing school is everything but what is taught for nursing students to be, such as caring, compassion, teamwork, etc. At the end of the day there are only certain number of seats this school will offer to students to take the NCLEX. This is why I do not feel bad when I hear that there is a shortage of nurses in the United States because the Education system isn't set up to produce nurses in quantity. Only the students who is expected to pass the NCLEX the first time will be the ones wearing the cap and gown.
