South University is the one of the absolute worst higher education institutions in America. From enrollment to graduation, I had nothing but problems with them. These issues were with office staff, primarily financial advisor, and some "professors". The majority of the online professors were very good, but had no real standard. By that I mean, at one point I was told by a professor that I was doing too much in my work, and did not need to be so thorough. This was evident in just about every class I attended in which many fellow students lacked the ability to discuss things using comprehensive, grammatically correct sentences. This sentiment remained all the way through senior level classes. I will give South University a little credit, their process to get me re-enrolled after having to take a leave of absence due to deployments, but that's about it. Furthermore, the degree path I chose ended up requiring 180 credits for my Bachelors degree, for no reason. I expressed to South University, that if I was not in my junior year when I had to take my leave, I would not have re-enrolled at their university. I recommend any perspective student stay far away from anything related to South.
