The UAS program is awful. The program director is an arrogant self righteous jerk. Likes to tell stories about his FBI study. His lectures are dry, boring and half the stuff you learn is from a book that isn't required - but it really is required. He held our mid term test in his UAS class for six weeks after the test was finished. He also cancels class, a lot. The rest of the aviation professors are okay. The guy who teaches aviation law is excellent and probably the smartest guy I've ever met. He has tons of experience in the industry. He's also a UAS professor who's actually flown a bunch of hours in drones. Like wise, my meteorology professor was top notch as well as most of the flight instructors.

The department chairs were never around, ever! You literally had to get a detective to find them. One of my professors complained that one of the chairs is running a bar or something. Probably explains his absenteeism.

The school itself is facing financial troubles as well. They "lost millions of dollars and classes are being cut for the Fall 2020 semester. It's going to make it hard to graduate on time. The president of the university, I've heard, is the reason Lewis has fallen so low.

I'm considering transferring to Embry-Riddle - I've just about had enough of this place.
