It wasnt my choice to go to Brock. It was my parents who made me go. They wanted me to become an accountant and make as much money as possible. I hated the region (Niagara is just terrible). The City of St Kitts is boring and depressing.A few bars/clubs, not much else.Niagara falls is a run down tourist trap. The school is a business that doesn't care about students. The food is garbage (Sodhexos food was so bad I lost weight first year because I couldn't stomach it).The accounting program was terrible. It is rated highly by employers. As a student I would give it 0/5 stars. The program is meant to fail people and the profs don't care at all if you actually learn the material. I was in classes where homework answers were not available until the day before a test. If you read the text and went to class, you only knew theory. You expected the prof to show you the practical side of things and they expected you to now how to do the work because you read the theory, which is not enough to know how to do the work. If you weren't lucky enough to have taken college courses that actually taught you how to do the practical work, or to have parents who were accountants, you were screwed. I hated my experience at Brock. If I could go back in time and never go there I would take that chance immediately. |
