I am a 2019 graduate of Carrington College Mesa. My decision to returning to school after many years, was a tough one. After doing extensive research, I began to explore my options, and visited some schools and talked to counselors. I chose Carrington because of what I saw and heard from the staff. The people of Carrington made the opportunity to change careers possible.

My decision to enroll in the billing/coding program at Carrington College made my return to school an exciting experience.

Starting the first day, Mrs. Fine taught the curriculum extremely well. She added additional scenarios and challenges along the way. She helped guide and lead a team of students on what it is like to work as a team and encouraged each of us to be a member.

Ms. Sheryl was beneficial in helping me to apply all the resources at Carrington College that were available to research and write reports in the proper format. I owe her a lot of gratitude because it made my school experience relate to my new career.

Ms. Becky proved to be a joy throughout the difficult and stressful transition from student to externship. Her strong personal skills through mock interviews and resources helped me find not just a job, but gave me guidance to find an amazing place to start my new career. The opportunities and resources are available for continued education.

The staff and students I met while attending the billing and coding program at Carrington College were friendly, helpful and kind. These individuals gave me a valuable, enlightening experience that travels with me every day. I apply the knowledge learned and it continues on my journey towards my new career path.

The skills and knowledge that my education experience taught me, is to apply every day as continued learning and never stop.

I am currently working as a full time medical billing specialist.
