At DADC (now Lincoln Tech), I received intense classroom theory and moderate lab hands-on training about everything automotive and truck. This helped tremendously in the comprehension, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of vehicles. I worked as a Mercedes-Benz mechanic at a dealership right after graduating, then later attended a 4-yr university. My education at DADC was an excellent foundation for my next degree which was at a large university majoring in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). I finished near the top of my class, and worked as a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer at a major international automotive supplier corporation. So for me, DADC was a great foundation of knowledge and experience that enabled me to perform with excellence as a Mechanic, then an Engineering student, and eventually a Mechanical Engineer for my final career. I am now retired. I give DADC an A+ for classromm education and a B+ for laboratory/shop education.
