MU Nurse Practitioner programs and Pleasant Prairie (PP) Nursing school for Marquette were both HUGE disappointments. PP campus does not believe in lectures or direct instruction so essentially you teach yourself. Some of the "teachers" (they really don't teach) appear to be bothered by having to interact with the students. The NP program has mandatory wait times for clinicals so by the time you get done you literally could have completed medical school or done PA school and be practicing for years. PP is a terrible program which is sad because I had such high hopes. |
