Looking back I graduated in 1985. I feel that SCSU is like any other lower ranked college, Its a degree, a piece of paper. Don't expect to get a degree in English & become a millionare. Matter of fact don't expect anything. That's just life my friend. Other than that Its a good school for Teaching & Nursing degrees. If that's what you want to do, its as good as anything. For the other 85% its just a piece of paper. I have no beef with the school. It did feel like a factory processing students but its part of the economic structure of College. They pressured me into declaring a major as a freshman which was a big mistake, I changed Majors by Junior year. They do that to protect Staff. Keep the numbers up in classrooms. I found that the ones who go here with a specific goal in mind will do fine, for the others its 4 years of manufacturing degrees and collecting money. Its not what you know its who you know.
