Ferris helped me: interviews and job offers with blue chip companies (at that time: Westinghouse, Univac, Motorola) and a graduate teaching assistantship offer from Michigan State Univ (Masters in Mathematics) - as well as secondary teaching offers. Ferris, however, does not have a lot of name recognition around the country so routing for the Bulldogs does not have the cache of routing for the Buckeyes!A student must decide where his emphasis is in terms of academic content and school reputation. Ferris proved to me that hard work and excellent grades will open the doors of the leading companies and graduate schools. |
