The police officer told me that in similar situations, they work out a schedule to accomodate both parties so that the victim and the perpetrator do not see each other and are not alone together. Other people told me not to say anything. It was a rather traumatizing experience and over and over people told me to go to counseling instead of calling the man who raped me, as I asked. He doesn't think he did anything wrong and as far as I know he'll be hired to work there this fall. Other professors harrassed me and my friends as well, and they just brush under the rug so to speak. |
