UC Irvine is a wonderful university.Quite BrightEconomics
UC Irvine is a wonderful university. I have had some really inspirational professors, insightful classes, and I feel academically competitive enough to apply to the Ph.D program at UCI. The only bad part about UCI is that some professors are not responsive and they are very hard to get letters of recommendation from.

Great school with a great faculty, college isSuper BrilliantEconomics
Great school with a great faculty, college is what you make of it. Irvine as a city is pretty empty without a car, but if you are open and go out and join clubs and/or go greek you'll meet a ton of friend and have a great time. If you shell up and just go to class and go home and talk to no one, then you'll think Irvine is lame.

Great school that seems to be underrated.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Great school that seems to be underrated. The only flaw I can think of is the lack of spirit (which is improving) but that's mainly due to the boring students that are still upset for not getting into other schools and choose to lock themselves in their rooms. This school has potential to be a lot of fun and the time of your life if you're willing to have an open mind. BTW there's no way that middle of no where Davis is better than us either.
