LSU-S is primarily a commuter school and itBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
LSU-S is primarily a commuter school and it is perfect for adults who also have a job. Party animals may not be happy here. The professors are devoted to teaching instead of research, which makes the school a good choice for working undergrads. The school is located in a safe neighborhood in a mid-sized city. LSU-S will get you where you want to go academically. Courses are quite rigorous in natural sciences and in the Business School. There are a lot of complainers on this site, but it is mainly because this is not a party school.

I started LSUS very unprepared for college andAverageBusiness - Management and Administration
I started LSUS very unprepared for college and the staff started me at low level courses and worked me up through 400 level courses. The courses were challenging but fair.

I feel I received a great education at LSUS. If you are looking for a party school then LSUS is not the place, but if you are searching for a solid education at a relatively inexpensive cost LSUS will be right for you.

Going here was a mistake.Business - Management and Administration
Going here was a mistake. I have good grades. This school is very negative. The students hate each other and the faculty. The faculty hate each other and the administrators. The administrators hate the faculty. The skeletons in my course were all broken and what wasn't broken was so old I have to wonder if it is even still up to date. I am leaving.
