I love USC.BrightPublic Health
I love USC. I transferred here from another wonderful university in southern California and could not be happier.

People:
All depends on who you talk to and how to talk to them. Rude to them? They'll be rude back, I feel like this is pretty standard. Most of the people I've met here are super friendly, nice, and genuinely kind. Yes, you will meet some fake, arrogant, snotty, close minded, or dumb people...but won't you at every university?

Education:
They really challenge you. Yes, courses and coursework is difficult but it makes you think and evaluate different perspectives. I've learned the most from some of my most difficult courses I have taken.

Professors:
This goes with education I guess. I've had access to excellent professors. They always make time for you if you cannot go to office hours and are always accessible if you need them for extra help. Yes, coursework is difficult but the professors care about how you are doing in the class and want to ensure that you are absorbing the material. I've loved my professors and the classes I've taken here.

Social Life:I am not a part of the greek system. I have many friends who are and have a wonderful time in it. Personally it is not for me. That said, I am still able to go out and have a good time. There are a lot of fun options nearby (thanks downtown and hollywood!) that I take advantage of.

Fantastic school, rigorous academics, approachable instructors, beautiful campus, brilliant students (for the most part), and infinite resources available to pursue whatever your career/life dreams may be! Made some great life-long friends here--both students and my former teachers--would do it again in a heartbeat--That USC diploma is worth every single penny of your student loan--will open the door to numerous opportunities in life that grads from other schools will never be offered!
Alumna Female -- Class 2000
Starting Job: physician assistant; Preparedness: A+ Reputation: A+
