One of the bestAveragePublic Health
One of the best experiences I had. I can't emphasize enough how great the students and faculty are here. Besides obtaining a degree and knowledge that help set your career, you will meet and make amazing friends.

I chose UCI because I thought it wouldAveragePharmacy
I chose UCI because I thought it would be a great university. I am a transfer student and the other students here are really weird and don't interact with other students. I think it would have been a better experience if I had went here all 4 years. It seems that the people you dorm with as freshmen shape your UCI experience. It is really expensive to live in Irvine. UCI does have a beautiful campus but that is seriously on the outside- a lot of the older buildings are gross (bathrooms, lecture hall seating). All the professors in the sciences are research scientists first and foremost so don't expect much in the way of teaching from them- I think how good your TA is can determine how much you actually take away from the course. Overall I wish I went to a different school.
