Students are great.  First two years focus on learning material that was not useful, not well coordinated.  Third year is only casually concerned with growing and learning as a student.

Georgetown is clearly one of the best placesSuper BrilliantPreMed and Medical
Georgetown is clearly one of the best places to go for a rewarding and exciting undergraduate experience. The combination of superior academics (with a focus on the undergraduate experience), a location which is the best of all worlds (great campus, college town, and fabulous city), a bright and interesting student body, and dedicated and accomplished faculty (who teach undergrads) makes Georgetown hard to beat. The focus is on learning and service, character development, and because everyone gets in to top ranked graduate programs, competition between students is minimal. I can't say enough about how thrilled I am about this place. People often compare Georgetown to UPenn, Duke, Columbia, Harvard, Yale--these places can't compare to Georgetown's UNDERGRADUATE experience because of their focus on graduate students--and the DC location provides the unique opportunity of bringing the classroom learning to life.

My Georgetown undergraduate experience was formative and rewSuper BrilliantPreMed and Medical
My Georgetown undergraduate experience was formative and rewarding in every regard. As a transfer student from Duke, I particularly appreciated Georgetown's diversity, emphasis on liberal arts, undergraduate focus, and attention to character development. When I went off to medical school at Johns Hopkins, I was impressed with the preparation Georgetown provided me--academically and personally--relative to my peers from other top colleges. I cannot think of a better place--academically, socially, culturally, personally--to attend college and strongly recommend Georgetown to any bright, engaging, active student.
