i am concerned he lowers my respect of clarkson for
allowing him to remain as a professor. if you
have any chance do not take a class he teaches. | | |

Absolutely Terrible! He won't shut up and teach, he
just rambles and quotes tv. Also, springs no partial
credit tests that are unrelated to lecture. Finally, useless
formusla sheets. | | |

| Everyone
else seems to complain about Prof Kane, but ES 220
was just a pretty easy and boring class to sit
through. I thought he taught the material very well and
maybe he has a different sort of sense of humor
but so what? He was also very helpful during office
hours. | | |

focuses on the trivial aspects that have already been covered
in the prerequisite classes. He skims over the new material
and teaches us how to take the derivative to find
a maximum. | | |

| Likes
math and tensors. All the negative comments are because the
ES220 classes are boring to both the students AND the
professor. Once you get Professor Kane in an area that
is up to his intellectual level things are much better. | | |
