Great class.  Challenging teacher.  Wouldn't mind taking a class from her again.
Should do to do well...
Don't skip a class and don't try to act like you're smarter than her.
Should know...
Take very, very, very careful notes.

Actually she is the only professor in the program who brings energy to the classroom.  I will give her that regardless of how she treats students.  Her questions are self written and designed to make you miss them.  Be ready.
Should do to do well...
Do not ever ask her to explain a concept outside of class.  She talks to you as if you're stupid and makes you feel even worse for asking her to further explain content she has covered in class.  If you dont get it then you're just out of luck.  She treats male students COMPLETELY different than she does female students.  I'm not sure for her reason for being much harder on them in clinicals but she is.  Students who have worked as techs/EMTs for years start IV's and she comments on how they did it wrong... the damned IV was started... seriously.  It was wrong b/c they didnt tape it the same way that she does.
Should know...
She writes her own test questions so don't expect it to look anything like what you see on other tests or on boards.  She TRIES to fail the students.  My best suggestion is learn every intervention you come across and know how to pick it out of a totally jumbled and criss-crossed question designed to make you miss it.

Student's Grade: B
Liked Instructor?: Strongly Disliked
