Boring, too much work for absolutely nothing.  You do not learn any thing from her class.  Her whole class is based on her ideology and if you do not believe in her ideology, you waste your time and your private school tuition for nothing.
Should do to do well...
Please do not take any class from Linda Flower.  She is a fraud.  She told the secretary to tell us her course is required for our MA in English degree, but in fact it was not.  She is mean and unfair.  She made the entire class stay up whole night to write the mid-term paper, which served no purpose.  Honestly, the entire class stay up whole night to write the mid-term paper.  No one slept.  She only wants everyone to reproduce what she claimed to be right and does not allow any difference is opinion.  Ironically, it is an English class which is supposed to foster creativity.  She punishes you in grade as well as publicly humiliates you in front of the entire class if you say something different than what she expects you to say.  Linda Flower is one of the most unprofessional professors I have ever seen.  Her behavior goes beyond meaness.  It is unethical.  I think that probably has to do with her low birth.  From what I gathered, she came from a very humble background, and “work” her way up, or “brown noised” her way up which I think is a more appropriate term.  She probably thinks to make her students suffer is the only way life can be fair.  She definitely has psychological problems.  Linda Flower simply should not be allowed to teach.
Should know...
No way.  We all suffered and learned nothing from her.
