I did not get to explore many of the awesome classes that are offered because I was so focused. There are many stereotypes about what a Miami student is, but don't let it fool you. I come from an upperclass family that taught me strong morals and the importance of a kid personality. 80% of Miami students are not worth any intelligent person's time. I am transferring to a private school where the students have morals, and they are not "new money." Therefore, they aren't vapid and low-lifes like most people at Miami.
My opinion aside, I would say go to Miami if you can tolerate gutter rats, and you got a good scholarship and/or can't afford a private school. If you do not have a Mercades to drive and are stapped for cash, you are unlikley to fit in here. Good news for very poor students is that they have MANY scholarships that are reserved for the the very poor, but nothing for the middle class. Save your $$ and go to a school that appreciated middle class students and does not cater to the elite.
