To be an in state student,tuition and extra fees are ridiculous. $5000 for personal expenses, $2000 for transportation fees,neither of which u see or use. Financial aid department is a joke as they do nothing to assist those who need additional help. You can call for weeks and never get am answer to the point where u must drive up there only to still not be helped.I was looking forward to attending college only to be dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience. Now having to consider sitting out a semester to come up with additional funds because of excessive tuition. Overall Education uhh, jokey. The STEM building is A1. Every other facility is pretty bookie meat...Some professors are great, most are obviously in it for a check. Would I want my kids to go here? Sadly HEEEEELLL Nawww cuh. Its not uncommon to see super duper seniors and people transfer to other schools regularly. Save yourself time and money, invest in yourself or in another school. Everyone here smokes weed and smells bad. There are a bunch of wannabe gangsters as well. The campus looks terrible and the Academics are at best, a Joke. There are like, two white people on campus and they usually transfer out within the first semester.

Admissions are a joke. A monkey could get in here. The surrounding city is absolutely terrible. It looks like it's stuck twenty years ago.

Don't bother coming here. You're better off going to College of Charleston or USC. The majority of the professors like teaching and do a good job when they can but due to furlow they are not always in the mood to teach. On a whole the school is ok but if you live far away you need to creat your own fun because the campus is like a ghost town on the weekends.
