Advisor said no problem, but it was a bigger problem. She told me that I would still be able to graduate in December.. yeah if I took 16+ hours in the fall. These morons do not care about your life. I was a transfer student from Tennessee State University. I had studied abroad 2 years and was an honors student. Within 6 months of starting at MTSU I was falsely accused of terrorism and thrown out. Then I spent three years trying to fix it with the US Dept. of Ed. MTSU was found in violation of my civil rights. I don't have money to sue them and they have to do nothing to repair the damage. Worst than a waste of time. This was a trauma. I'll be spending years trying to undo the damage. In that regard, I feel that my time at MTSU was successful. I changed and grew and learned, and I loved getting my degree here in History. My professors were great and I enjoyed my research. However, that said, MTSU is not a school you go to in order to gain prestige. It is a good value, and I came away with very little money owed, so that was awesome, but now I have a BA in History and no job and no prospects.
