Biggest mistake coming here and I regret it from day one. There's nothing to do and the place is in the middle of nowhere. The town is super small with not much. You have to drive far to find something that's actually fun. The campus is a dump and its not very well maintained. Food is terrible, not many choices. Student body is pretty bad. Kids seem to be very immature and rude. Most of the homework seems to be busy work and overall it feels like its high school. I applied to this school along with a couple others because I wanted to play lacrosse. NEC gave me the most money and I didn't have a bad time on my visit so I decided to go. What a waste of time and money. Not trying to sound like a jackass but I had an awesome time in high school and had tons of friends. I am a very social person, love partying on the weekends, and having a variety of things to do. If you choose to go to NEC for some dumb reason you will have the option of one house party and one "bar" the chinese bar gin gins. You will see the same people every weekend, the campus looks like absolute shit, there is nothing to do in this town and for the most part the kids there were very odd. My four best friends from freshman year also transferred out of NEC after their freshman year, went to big state schools and are having a blast. Please take my advice, i read these, I decided to attend NEC, I regret it. IF YOU HAVE ANY SOCIAL LIFE AND DO NOT WANT TO DO THE SAME THING EVERY WEEKEND DO NOT GO HERE.

Also all facilities look like shit, dorms are gross, "campo" the campus police are jackasses and sent me to a drinking class that I didn't go to and I got fined 150 at the end of the year.
