Advisors simply dont deserve the title because you are on your own and they will mot return emails, work to help you achieve your goals and guide you through the process. Registrar is a disaster. On more than one occassion i was told that i was not even registered although i was a full time student in a dorm that paid my $50+K on time and in full. Worst school at any price because the quality of the education is terrible and disappointing. Stay far away from FIT! Florida Tech claims to be "high tech with a human touch," this is not correct. Teachers don't answer emails nor do they post grades. It is VERY frustrating. And for a school that is so expensive, you would think the campus, and buildings would be more up to date...they're not. I am switching schools after this semester. This school seems to be a good fit for foreigners, because that's all the people that attend the school. Hardly anyone speaks English...or speaks it well at least. The students don't know what proper hygiene is either, I don't think these kids know what soap and toothpaste are. This school is also not aimed for someone who works full-time and also wants to go to school full-time. Making your schedule is IMPOSSIBLE at FIT. I STRONGLY recommend going to a different school if you have been considering this one. The social life is awful and the girls are ugly. There are barely any girls at all and they are all nerdy. I would definitely not recommend this school to anyone.
