If I knew how I would be treated while attending this place, I wouldn't have chosen it. I didn't pick this college to be discriminated against by the students and the surrounding community. The campus police aren't here to protect the city kids (black kids), they only protect and serve the white students as usual. I have had my things stolen one year and was treated like the criminal by campus police. I was threatened by a white man which wasn't taken seriously since they all protect each other. I know life isn't fair but this isn't the college experience I asked for. The school is money hungry and does not care about you. The legal studies education is useless since it is completely online and you will learn basically nothing for law this way. Deans, RAs, Professors, Accomodative Services,Registrar and FinAid are useless. No one helps and the systems tehy use are botched. You need to meet with an adviser and get a code to register for every semester's classes. It's useless. The students from upstate are mostly close minded rednecks. There are a lot of typical city kids but I've never had a problem with any of them. The school seems safe enough but it's filled with a lot of immature people doing stupid stuff. Now let's talk about the people .There's a whole bunch of hood boogers and city nasty girls.I'm form the city and I'm black and I went away to be away from the ghetto environment and I made the wrong choice. There are some racist white people but not all of them I've had a few white friends and there awesome.I like the teachers some of them are rude but some of them really do care . The school isn't hard so Idk why some of these dummies fail out they literally hand u the A's. I'm embarrassed to say that I even went.
