They take forever to get back to you and when they do they are so snotty. They also don't know the information they should know. I called financial aide 3 times to make sure the amount of money they applied to my account was correct and they said it was so I planned with that number in mind only to find out she was mistaken and took the money away. When I called about it they woman was very rude and said I should have known. I just had nothing but bad experiences from the faculty at KSU, but maybe this is just how it is at all schools. I have since graduated and when ever I need to get information it is like pulling teeth to get information. They also decided I had to change my password to my account now and it has to be at least 15 characters, with a letter, a number and one of the pre approved symbols. What the heck was wrong with my old password, i'm never going to remember all that. The course work is challenging but it's more so that most of these teachers are stifflers for grades and they make very tough for someone to earn an A.

My program of choice didn't notify me of changes they had made to my program which left me with two options 1) Hurry up and finish or your degree won't count 2) switch to our new major which will make you take another whole year to complete! yayy we want your money just to screw you over...so I left big F you to KSU

And the fact that it's still a commuter school or at least feels like it make it awful. I am transferring at the end of my freshman year. Too many kids from Metro Atlanta, and tons of kids you went to high school with.

Tuition and fees are pretty high, too. Mandatory meal plan even for commuter students- total ripoff! The "dorms" are overpriced privately owned on or near campus. It costs a fortune to go here, either with parking, dining, and housing. Tuition is right in line with the top-tier state schools, and not worth it.

The worst part is the campus life here is awful. KSU trying to be a major player and it will be a long time beofre they are there. Won't happen during my time in college, so I'm not wasting any more time here.

The other huge issue is class registration. You will never get all the classes you want or need at any given time. Not enough class spots or offerings for everyone. They grew too fast and don't have enough for enrollment. Nobody graduates on time because of it. It's very frustrating. This place is just a parking spot until you can transfer somewhere else.

Now you can begin to understand that the growth of Kennesaw undergraduates has far surpassed the faculty available to teach all the needed courses. Your first year should be fine (Eng 1101, Math, History) all have more than enough available classes. HOWEVER once you reach your Sophomore year you'll quickly learn that many classes you need fill up and never open because WAY MORE PEOPLE need the classes than KENNESAW CAN OFFER. EXAMPLE- Fundamental microbiology which is a mandatory class for- Nursing, Nutrition, Marketing, and Exercise Science which KSU offers 1-48 person class. Thats right thousands of people need the class however Ksu has no one to teach it. YOU WILL FIND THIS PROBLEM OFTEN so be ready to be a Transient student at other colleges to stay on your degree track. This is not a lone example the same goes for easily over a dozen other classes especially Business. So if you attend DO NOT be surprised that you will be fighting for classes no matter what. The good side of the school is a great cafeteria (The Commons) and for males dozens of easy chicks. The 60/40 female to male ratio respectively is nice, but fighting for classes and having to wait out an extra semester (~3 months of your life) to get into needed classes is weak. Add/Drop week does allow for students to drop out and if your persistent and keep logging into Owl Express and hitting refresh for a several days you can sometimes get the class you need. I'd reccomend a school that is preparred to handle the amount of students they have like: UGA, GT, even GSU (if you can handle ATL).
