The teachers and faculty were strict, but caring. They wanted you to succeed. Some were legalistic, some weren't. You can't put them all in the same box. Dr. Roberson was strict, but I saw the caring side of him also. He helped many students through rough times, and didn't expect anything in return. For every genuine, quality person I met, there were ten others who would turn their nose up at you if they didn't deem you "Christian enough" for their company.
