I wish I could go back and relive college again (who doesn't?). I'm looking forward to Homecoming in the fall and the chance to see another football game.

I'll echo what others have said here. Work hard, set high standards for yourself, and then see yourself succeed. It's a simple formula. The people are great at WNEU. Faculty are tough but will give you as much attention as you need to succeed. They are actually really happy when you go to their office hours or call them at 10 pm with a question about homework.

The other side of that close relationship is that faculty expect you to work hard and know who you are. If you are comfortable with that high level of accountability, you'll like WNEU. There are easier schools and there are bigger schools out there, but I'm glad I went to Western New England.

Western New England is a great school and I never regret my choice to attend. Academics are tough but the professors are right there to help. No teaching assistants, either.

If you're paying for a college education, you should have access to the teachers. That's what you get at WNEU.

I think it was a little too small for me and too close to home for me to fully appreciate what this school has to offer. There are a lot of options here, and many things to do on campus, as Springfield isn't the best place to hang around in. I definitely started several positions above students from other colleges. I was promoted quickly due to my own effort. That has given me an opportunity to make middle six-figures about five years after graduation. I chalk up my good start to an internship that WNE set up for me and directly let to my first job.

Like any school, WNE is what you make of it. You learn as much as you want and then you use it the way you want. I chose to take hard classes with great professors (and that's where WNE stands out from the megaversities where you never meet the prof) and I present myself well. Most people I meet in the professional world think I went to an Ivy League school based on my demeanor, competence, and the position I hold at this age.

I have found memories of my time at "WNEC" and have recommended it to those looking for a good small university with quality academics.
