District District is the Savannah College of Art and Design's student newspaper. With a staff comprised of students, district is the college's truest voice of the students. A free newspaper, district is published every two weeks and distributed throughout the college campus. An award-winning member of the Georgia College Press Association, district features student news and events, including profiles of students and professors, and highlights area events of particular interest to students. The publication provides opportunities for students to gain experience as writers, photographers and illustrators, and prints a full page of comic strips drawn by local artists. A student editor works with a student staff to produce the publication under the supervision of a staff adviser.
