Student Description
The Albritton Bell Tower dominates this night-time view of the Texas A&M University - College Station campus. The 138-foot tower contains 49 carillon bells that were cast in France with total weight of 17 tons, with largest weighing 6,500 pounds. The bells ring every quarter hour and are programmed to play seasonal music or the "Spirit of Aggieland" after home football game victories.
